For Children from our Lion and Tiger Clubs who are offered the chance to play for the Hercules Lions Football Club..... In early 2005, I thought about setting up a football team for all the young children who attend the many Hercules Football courses. But mainly for those who attend the Lion and Tiger clubs. It was decided to try and run an Under 8’s and an Under 7’s team. The first training session was held back in October 2005, and so Hercules Lions FC was formed. Aims The aim of the teams (apart from having fun playing football) is to have a natural progression from the Lion & Tiger clubs, whose ethos is to give children a gentle introduction to football and move that into team play
- To produced well rounded, Fair and sporting players.
- Players who play for the love of the game and not just to win
- A happy playing and training environment for children to learn the game.
